Temper Movie Review and Ratings

It took almost 11 years for the duo Puri Jagannadh and Jr. Ntr to make a movie again. It was in 2004 they came with Andhrawala, which was the debut disaster in the career of Jr. Ntr. Later, he had to face back to back disasters for three years. The director and the actor paired up again for Temper this time. Since the movie is finalized, the hopes on this movie are doubled as the duo didn’t have a decent in their careers in the recent days. Though Puri Jagan has experienced it with Heart Attack, it was not up to his mark.

The movie began in the mid of May 2014 under the banner of Parameswara Art Productions with Bandla Ganesh as the producer. He is making a film with Jr. Ntr for the second time. His last movie with him, Baadshah was a blockbuster at the box office. There were many options for the role of female lead, but Kajal Agarwal finalized into the script. This is the third movie for Kajal with Ntr after Brindavanam and Baadshah. They are called as the successful pair in the film industry. Though it was rumored that Tamannah could replace Kajal due to the issue of dates, it didn’t happen.

For the first time, Puri Jagannadh is making a movie with the story given by another writer. So far all the movies he directed, Puri wrote the dialogues by himself and also the screenplay and script. May be due to the recent track record that Puri has, news came that Ntr rejected the story proposed by the director and then Vakkantam Vamsi came into the scene with a story that suits Ntr. He previously gave story for Ntr’s Oosaravelli, which is an average hit.

Plus Points:

Puri Jagan deserves the complete credits for showing NTR in a role like never before. NTR is the major plus point for the film with his look as he portrays in a new slim and 6 packed look. His balancing of the character during the climax is outstanding. His body language and the dialogue delivery were at peaks during this part. The credit also goes to him for portraying such diverse role in Temper.

Prakash Raj in Temper proves why he is called a versatile actor. His decent performance is important in the movie. Kalaj looks ultra gorgeous in the movie. The other actor Madhurima is quite good with her role and brings the necessary impact in the movie.

Another actor Posani Krishna Murali portrayed the role of sidekick beside NTR and evokes some emotions throughout the film. The major part of the movie comes after interval as it runs on an emotional mode. The court scene in the climax fetches applauds from the audience and has been handled very effectively. The chemistry between Kajal and NTR looks outstanding.

Minus Points:

Speaking about the first half, it is just average with routine scenes. If Puri Jagannadh could have added some entertainment part with his regular comedians, it would have been more effective. Kajal’s role has nothing to do with the second half. She is confined to songs and some scenes with less importance to the story.

The story seems quite routine and is predictable during the second half. These kinda subjects were dealt many times in the past. Sonia Aggarwal is no necessary for that role in the movie.

Final Verdict:

Overall, Temper has everything what a NTR fan expects from him and this movie will be a relief his fans as this is looking way better from his previous films. Apart from the routine story, you will be in an emotional ride which is a perfect comeback hit for Young Tiger Jr. NTR.
