IPL Spot-Fixing: Supreme Court names ‘actors involved in drama’

The Supreme Court said on Friday that it has seen the names probed by Justice Mugdhal committee for spot fixing in Indian Premier League 2013. The names include BCCI former president N.Srinivasan, his son-in-law Meiyappan, Rajasthan Royals COO Raj Kundra and cricketers Owais Shah and Stuart Binny were the one probed by the committee.

Supreme Court later stated that the names of cricketers Owais Shah and Stuart Binny were accidentally named among the one who were probed. Justice Mugdhal, who is leading the probe team said that the next hearing will be on November 24th. Supreme Court further stated that the copy of the report of the Mugdhal Committee is sent to the players and the former BCCI chairman N.Srinivasan and ordered to file their objections within 4 days of the receipt.

There would be a new trouble for the former principal of IPL team Chennai Super Kings, Gurunath Meiyappan, whose audio tapes have been verified by the forensic department.
