US President Barack Obama, who was on a visit to India for the Republic Day along with the first lady Michelle Obama has surprised everybody by quoting one of the famous lines from Bollywood love story, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.

Obama said these words during the last address at a townhall in New Delhi on Tuesday. The President chuckling the crowd at the auditorium said these lines in broken Hindi, ‘Senorita, bade bade deshon mein…. you know what I mean’

The complete line goes like this: “Last celebration here we celebrated festival of lights in Mumbai. We danced with some children. Unfortunately, we were not able to schedule any dancing in this visit. Senorita, bade bade desho mein… you know what I mean,”

In the final speech, President Obama applauded India saying that youth is the power of the nation and US will always be the best ally for India. The president added that the world will be better when the two democratic countries stand together. Obama quoted the names of Kailash Satyarthi, Shah Rukh Khan, and sports personalities like Mary Kom and Milka Singh to make a point that courage and humanitarian values unify both the nations.

Obama was scheduled to visit Taj Mahal after this meeting, but it was cancelled he was rescheduled to visit Saudi Arabia to meet the new king Salman.
