Apple Inc. Chief Operating Office Timothy Cook claimed that he is gay and he is proud to be that way. This statement from him created a sensation all over the world.

The CEO of Apple stated that he has been a gay for many years from now and a few employees know about his sexuality. Cook added that being a gay won’t change the way his employees treat him as he never denied his sexuality. Being a gay is a God’s gift, Cook added.

According to the gay rights group of Human Rights Campaign, Tim Cook is the first CEO of a Fortune 500 company that stated that he is a gay openly. The gay unions applauded the statement of the CEO. The daring statement from theĀ Apple CEO was applauded all over the world.

Tim Cook joined the company in 1998 as the Vice President of World Operations and is now the CEO of Apple. Tim Cook served as the acting CEO, when the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs was hospitalized for few days. Later, Cook became the CEO in 2011 after the demise of Steve Jobs.
